IRT Settings

In this sheet, you can find a summary of the IRT settings that were used.

The line chart on the left shows the evolution of the trigger and resupply levels throughout the trial.

💡 Tip

These settings are linked to sites groups and to package types, therefore you need to select one site group and one package type at a time to get an informative graph.

The Buffer levels tab summarizes the buffer levels per site group and package types.

The Resupply management tab displays the IRT setup at sites by providing the short window, the long window and the minimum storage period per country.

Definitions and data meaning:

The definitions for some of the values/concepts used in this sheet are as follows:

  • Trigger level: minimum buffer level (number of kits).

  • Resupply level: maximum buffer level (number of kits).

  • Short window:  number of days for which the inventory should cover the worst case for the demand.

  • Long window: number of days for which kits should cover the predicted demand when a shipment is triggered.

  • Minimum storage period: It corresponds to a number of days during which any kits that arrive on site or depot should still be valid. For example, a MSP of 15 days at site will ensure that any package type arriving to site can still be dispensed to patients during at least 15 days.
