Access & Executive summary

Access the dashboard

There are two ways to access this dashboard.

If users want to see results that have been published, they should go to the Dashboards. Then, select a portfolio in which the results for the relevant trial are published. On the trial card, users can click on View details and can then go to the Results dashboard tab.

Otherwise, they can go to the N-SIDE Supply App and look for the results they want to visualize and click on View details. Users can then go to the Results dashboard tab.

Executive summary

In this sheet, you can find an executive summary of the results with the main KPIs for the trial.

Definitions:

The most important terms used in this sheet are as follows:

  • Overage: future overage for the trial. It is computed as: (future # packages wasted / future # packages demanded) * 100.

  • Packages demanded: Total number of packages needed to satisfy the patient demand.

  • Packages dispensed: total number of packages actually dispensed to patients.

  • Packages released: number of packages released at central depot for the trial.

  • Current packages in stock: number of packages released at central depot for the trial that are already accounted for in the IRT extract. These packages are counted in the inventories at central and local depots, and at sites.

  • Packages wasted: total number of packages released but not dispensed to patients (packages that will expire somewhere in the supply chain).

  • Missed visits: total number of visits at which patients cannot receive their full dispensing. In other words, the total number of times patients came to the site when the right dispensing was not fully available.

  • Missed visits [%]: Percentage of visits at which a patient could not get his/her full (total number of missed visits/total number of visits for all patients in the whole trial)

  • Out of stocks: Number of times some package is needed for a patient visit but is not available at site level neither in the upstream part of  the supply chain (i.e  at regional or central depot), at the time of dispensing.

  • Shipments to sites: number of shipments sent to the sites (automatically by the IRT system).

  • Shipments to depots: future number of shipments sent to local depots.

  • Material cost: it includes the fixed production cost (per batch) and the variable production cost (per unit produced, including packaging and labeling).

  • Shipping cost: shipping cost (to sites and depots).

  • VAT & custom fees: VAT & customs cost linked to the number of packages shipped to countries with import taxes.

  • Storage cost: cost of storage for all packages (at sites and depots).

  • Management cost: Total cost related to depots management.

  • Other costs: cost of returns, destruction, missed visits, and out of stocks.

  • Total cost: sum of all costs.
